Mini Bamboo Care Guide 🌿

🌿 Phase 1 — Root Sealing

Once your bamboo arrives, please unpack it completely.
Wrap the pot tightly with plastic film to lock in humidity.

⏱️ Duration: Around 3–5 days, depending on your local temperature and humidity.
During this period, check the plant every three days.

⚠️ What to check:

  • If you notice mold or white fuzz on the trunk, gently brush the affected area with the provided carbendazim (antifungal solution).

  • In hot or humid weather, open a small gap for ventilation — but keep the environment moist to prevent dehydration.

🦠 Tip: Regularly apply or water with carbendazim to prevent fungal infection.

Wrapping examples:

  1. Tower Type: Fully sealed wrap.

  2. Phoenix Tail Type: Keep the top tip exposed for better airflow.

Phase 2 — Root Growing

After 5–7 days, gradually reduce humidity.
Only keep the trunk lightly wrapped — do not seal the pot.
Allow the soil to breathe and go through natural dry–wet cycles.
Water thoroughly when the topsoil becomes slightly dry.

Wrapping examples:

  • Tower Type: Loosely wrap the trunk only.

  • Phoenix Tail Type: Keep the tail exposed; protect the trunk gently.

If your surrounding humidity is above 80%, no wrapping is needed.
Avoid harsh sunlight; place in bright, airy shade — morning or evening light is ideal.

âś… Daily Watering & Maintenance

Once the roots are established:

  • Water thoroughly whenever the soil feels dry or nearly dry.

  • Fertilizer is not required.

  • Ideal temperature: 20–30°C (68–86°F)

🫥 Please Note

  • Mini bamboo seedlings have a naturally low survival rate, so 100% success cannot be guaranteed.

  • Each plant is checked before shipping, and we will inform you of its root condition.

  • Keep photos of the plant when you receive it — they’re helpful for future care or consultation.
